![]() The Multi-FX was designed to take ordinary midi keyboard sounds and combine them into complex percussive sounds that are beyond what a typical midi keyboard can produce. Soundplant's most interesting module, the Multi-FX, is being used by musicians and engineers as a powerful multi FX processor. In the mean time, Soundplant users can continue to upload their audio files to their hard drives, though audio files uploaded to the server will have higher quality sound effects and the ability to trigger more complex sounds via new modules such as the Multi-FX processor. SES will allow one to upload a file with one short effects (like an acoustic bass line for instance), and load it onto a server, where it can be played without any downloads. The uploading process will be made incredibly easy with a new feature called "short effect streaming", or SES for short. Soundplant's creators are currently working on a version 4.0, which will allow users to transfer their files directly from their hard drives to Soundplant's servers. Soundplant was developed by a string instrument technician and sound designer who left his job as an audiologist to pursue his passion and earn his doctoral degree in electronic music technology at university. Soundplant comes with a collection of more than 150 pre-programmed sounds including live musicians and recording artists. It works by transforming analog audio signals into digital data that can be played with specialized sound modules on personal computers. Soundplant does not require any special equipment. Soundplant is a revolutionary new technology that allows you to create your own sound and music virtually in the comfort of your own home.

There aren’t many shoes or boots that have been around for over a hundred years, but the original L.L.Bean duck boot is one of them. The original duck boot, still hand-stitched in Maine, continues to be one of the best values available. Materials: rubber sole and upper, leather shaft.Typically, higher quality duck boots from reputable brands will have gusseted tongues where others may not. When the tongue is attached to the rest of the upper at its sides (known as a gusseted tongue) the ability of the duck boot to keep water out at that point increases. ![]() Ensuring that the seal here is both watertight and durable is imperative to the long-term use of the duck boot.Īnother important feature to look at with duck boots is the tongue. ![]() This is typically low enough down on the boot that at least some moisture could still sneak in on the wrong conditions, but it creates enough breathability and flexibility to make the duck boot comfortable. The likeliest fail point for any duck boot is where the rubber upper meets the leather shaft. Look for multiple stitch lines, as this seam has the greatest potential for failure of anywhere in the duck boot. The key to quality with a duck boot (beyond the quality of the materials being used), is in the construction-specifically, the stitching between the rubber upper and the leather shaft. ConstructionĪt its core, a duck boot is constructed of a highly durable, completely waterproof sole and upper, and a highly breathable (but still waterproof) shaft. This became the first product sold by the company known today as L.L.Bean. When he got back from one fabled hunting trip, he set about combining rubber boots with a leather upper, and started to sell them soon after. While duck boots have a somewhat fashion-based reputation today, the first duck boots were developed in 1912 after Leon Leonwood Bean found that his regular hunting boots weren’t cutting in the wet and cold of Maine. Enter the duck boot: rubber at the soles and around the base of your foot to maximize the waterproofing where you need it, with a more breathable leather upper. But while galoshes are our go-to for rainstorms, wearing nothing but rubber boots in the mud and slush and muck can wreak more havoc with our feet then we’d care to admit. Anyone who has lived through a long winter knows that waterproof shoes, like duck boots, are essential to keeping your feet warm and dry. ![]() I have to add that i am only at 12-13 maps yet, so will see how it performs at very end game. Moving is the key I believe, you can't face tank monsters anymore. Metamorph bosses are hard but normally i do not have any big issues yet. I am at life and 2100 energy shield and die very seldom. ![]() Going the soul tether way is sure possible, but I don't wanna drop the call of the brotherhood rings yet. There is no life leech from soul thief, or do I misunderstand here something? Soul thief gives energy shield leech and and on amu you get life leech. I havent tried carcass yet but I feel I do have enough area damage for clearing, so I prefer Shroud of the lightness. Shourd has so many benefits in my opinion, gives shade form, increased evasion and energy shield, life and mana. either get crazy on dodge and evasion or try to build up real leech. In the end these seem to be the only two ways making this build as surviveble as possible. So one more thing that would make the belt + ring thingy work would be Atziri's Acuity but those gloves are CRAZY expensive and im not sure if they are even worth it but i will try. protip: Turbulent Catalyst on Call of the Brotherhood adds up to 8% more conversion. (Tried it with 2 rings for even more leech but not being able to freeze and chill is REALLY not worth it). Im trying another thing right now with assassins mark AND life on hit on the ring instead of oskarms and soul tether gives you way more leech for life AND ES giving the nature of storm burst is a lot of hits per second EACH ball. ![]() When you see ppl with 8khp or 10k ES and way more generation or leech getting pretty much oneshot in a second its not really the builds fault tho. I pretty much gave up making this build bullet proof, its just not possible. Adding Phase acro even can get you at 75% dodge AND spelldodge (maybe even add atziri's steps) but doesnt mitigate any damage WHEN you get hit. You can also add Vaal Grace for bosses and big packs. Getting flesh and stone plus rumis is another layer helping. ![]() Which is the problem of the whole build, pretty much. If you have cold damage leeched as life AND the spell damage ES leech from the tree (soul thief) you are already at MAX LEECH for both. Also l o l on the "keep moving" with a channeling build C: shroud of lightness shouldnt really help much more than carcass jack? 3seconds every 45seconds isnt that good. Ye t12 is only where the damage dropoff begins, t14+ is where metamorphs and elderslayer begin doing crazy damage. Offense wise I have a storm burst gem at lvl 21 and +1 level from Wand (+1 level of all physical spell skill gems), so storm burst is level 22.įor bosses, this build is not a facetank build so keep moving. Price for watchers was 40c, so very much afforable You can then also drop "Arcane Surge" on chest (I chose inspiration support)ĥ) I use "wrath" instead of hatred and use it in combination with a watchers eye jewel with "%of lightning damage is leeched as energy shield". Build is really amazing to play and I am in red maps (T11-12) and do not have any issues nor offense or defense wise.įor people having trouble with survivability:ġ) Get Shroud of Lightness asap, it really helpsĢ) Get as much energy shield and evasion on gear (I have 4700 life and 2200 ES)ģ) Get "Cold damage leeched as life" on amuletĤ) I am using Oskarm gloves for assassin mark, it tremendously helps with mana and life sustain during mapping. ![]() "Aw, c'mon baby," Camila pleaded, giving Lauren her most convincing pout, "Please, I need to do it or I'll be out of a job. And Reaper has the better mixer and routing possibilities. However as Reaper is quite powerful under the hood, I think most (if not more) can be achieved with Reaper. I like the clip feature (something which is not possibible with Reaper in Linux) and the modulators are nice to have too. I played with Bitwig the last days and yes, it's nice. I'm mainly making songs in the box with 95% VSTs on Linux, the rest is guitar recording.
